Spring 2024 Climate Conversations Training

Our next round of Climate Conversations training has begun – join us!

It’s perfect if you:

  • Feel a bit sweaty when it comes to bringing up climate change at the school gate or in the wider community
  • Worry about where to start or how to bring up the subject
  • Want to engage more people on our work at Parents for Future, within the local groups and / or nationally…

On Monday 19th February we had our ‘Kick Off Call’ to start our Spring round of training. You can catch up on the presentation delivered by LargerUs by watching the below video.

This is the first in a three-part series, so please watch this video before signing up to join a Workshop, as the programme is designed to build your knowledge and skills from the first session to the last. The training is open to everyone.

Come to a Workshop

Now you’ve heard about why climate conversations are so important, are you ready to take the next step? If you struggle to know how to start talking to people, worry about not having all the facts, or don’t want to come across as preachy – this training is for you!

We are running this workshop twice, so please sign up to whichever time suits you best (one not both!)

Following this workshop would be a 6-week commitment, beginning the week of 22 April. Dates/times to be decided by the groups.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept anyone onto the 6 week programme who has not attended a Workshop, and these sessions will NOT be recorded.

Lucie on our Courageous Conversations plans

We really need to talk! We know the devastating impact this crisis is having on families across the world.  But climate remains the elephant in the room. It will undeniably impact everyone, and yet so few of us are actually talking about it!
