Join the campaign to Stop Rosebank and all new oil and gas fields
The UK government has approved the vast new Rosebank oil field
But the UN and climate scientists across the globe are in agreement. If we want a liveable climate, we can’t allow any new oil and gas projects.
- Rosebank’s oil will do nothing to lower fuel costs in the UK
- Burning Rosebank’s oil and gas would create more CO2 than the combined annual emissions of the 28 lowest-income countries in the world
- The project would cost the UK public over £750 million
- But oil and gas giant Equinor – majority-owned by the Norwegian government – will take the profits
- This project will do nothing to lower our extortionate energy bills in the UK.
