The UK government has approved the vast new Rosebank oil field

But the UN and climate scientists across the globe are in agreement. If we want a liveable climate, we can’t allow any new oil and gas projects.

  • Rosebank’s oil will do nothing to lower fuel costs in the UK
  • Burning Rosebank’s oil and gas would create more CO2 than the combined annual emissions of the 28 lowest-income countries in the world
  • The project would cost the UK public over £750 million
  • But oil and gas giant Equinor – majority-owned by the Norwegian government – will take the profits
  • This project will do nothing to lower our extortionate energy bills in the UK.
