Join the campaign to stop Rosebank and all new oil and gas fields
The UK government is set to approve the vast new Rosebank oil field.
But the UN and climate scientists across the globe are in agreement. If we want a liveable climate, we can’t allow any new oil and gas projects or licences.
We can’t let this project go ahead for many reasons:
- Rosebank’s oil will do nothing to lower fuel costs in the UK
- Burning Rosebank’s oil and gas would create more CO2 than the combined annual emissions of the 28 lowest-income countries in the world
- The project would cost the UK public over £750 million
- But oil and gas giant Equinor – majority-owned by the Norwegian government – will take the profits.
