September’s State of Nature report detailed the extent of the decline of nature in the UK since 2019. This report left us bereft and saddened at the loss of biodiversity in this country.
In their 2021 Environment Bill, the government laid out guidelines to ensure nature’s recovery, strategies that would see nature and her species thrive. As the State of Nature report plainly states, this has not happened and the decline continues.
We must hold the government accountable to their promises and we can do this together.
Join us for our next Climate Changemakers’ cycle where we will focus on responding to the report in letters to our elected representatives over three evening ‘Hours of Action’ on zoom.
No experience needed. Come to one or all three (each session builds on the previous and we always update newcomers). All information and resources are provided for you.
We start tonight! These are relaxed 60 minutes sessions that we hope will leave everyone feeling inspired and empowered – having taken action with a group of like-minded parents and carers.
8-9pm, 2nd, 7th 16th November via Zoom.
You don’t need to be a member of PFF to join – everyone is welcome.
