We are joining in with Sustainable Fashion Weeks #MendItMay to host an online repair sewing circle. They say “Whether mended by hand or machine, invisibly or creatively, at home or by a professional – participants are asked to share and celebrate the power of mending and to encourage others to do the same.”

Our mending circle will be held on Sunday 12 May from 8.30 until 9.30. The overall goal of the #MendItMayproject is to save 200 garments from landfill – it would be great of PFF can add a few to this! Sewing on a button counts!

It’ll be relaxed and you can chat and share your project but you don’t have to.

Bring along a project – you have a couple of weeks to choose a project and gather a needle and thread. Your hosts Emma Dennett and Bronwyn Opland will be able to give some tips and answer questions on the night. Afterwards you are welcome to share your repairs online using the hashtag #MendItMay
