Schools are a key part of most parents’ lives for many years. We are excited to be growing our work to support parents to take action on climate through their school community.

 

 

 

OUR MEMBERS WORK WITH THEIR SCHOOLS

Making real change – big and small, including:

  • switching banks and energy providers
  • water and waste management
  • menu switches and school allotments
  • promoting eco-travel
  • hosting People’s Emergency Briefings
  • teaching kids about the climate crisis

RESOURCES AND SUPPORTIVE WORKING GROUP

We have a step-by-step guide for parents and carers to create change in their schools.

We hold a bi-monthly Schools Engagement working group for members to join, share ideas and get support. We are exploring how to grow confidence, share tips and resources and connect to our communities of action.
